Gupis Fort is a rectangular structure with circular or square watchtowers at each of its four corners, designed for strategic surveillance. The main entrance of the fort faces the village’s farming area and overlooks the Ghizer River, providing a clear view of the surrounding landscape. To the south, the fort offers views of the village orchards and the Gilgit-Chitral road, which was historically an important trade route. To the west, the fort overlooks the scenic Gupis stream, adding to its strategic significance and picturesque surroundings.
