Getting Here
Diamer, in northern Pakistan, is accessible by air or road. Flights from Islamabad to Gilgit (1.5 hours) or Skardu (1 hour) offer scenic views. From there, it’s a 5-8 hour road journey. Alternatively, you can drive from Islamabad to Gilgit via the Karakoram Highway (500 km, 12-14 hours).

Fairy Meadows
This is the best known and the most popular trek to one of Nanga Parbat’s base camp with perfect views of the north face. The 15 km long narrow and snaky jeep road from Raikot bridge to Tato/Jhel, is a hard and ascentuous track. The Raikot Stream is deep and swift. Jhel to Fairy Meadow 2-3 hours trek is easy.
