HOPPER VALLEY

The most common way to reach Hopper Valley is by road from Gilgit. It takes around 4–6 hours to drive to the valley, depending on road conditions. You can hire a local jeep or take public transport from Gilgit to Nagar.

• Rakaposhi Peak: At 7,788 meters (25,551 feet), it is the 27th highest mountain in the world and offers breathtaking views from the valley.
• Hopper Glacier: A beautiful, scenic glacier that is accessible via trekking.
• Trekking and Hiking Trails: There are numerous treks around the valley, including the Rakaposhi Base Camp trek, which offers incredible views of the surrounding peaks.

The best time to visit is during the summer months (from May to September), when the weather is milder, and the valley’s natural beauty is at its peak. Winter can be very cold, with snowfall making travel difficult.
