GAPPA VALLEY

By Road: You can drive to Gilgit, and from there, hire a jeep or taxi to take you through the scenic Nagar Valley to GAPPA. The journey involves rugged terrain and some unpaved roads, so a 4×4 vehicle is recommended.

The best time to visit GAPPA Valley is during the summer months (from May to September). This is when the weather is more temperate, and the valley is lush with greenery. Winters (November to March) are harsh, with heavy snow, making it more challenging to travel. However, if you’re interested in winter landscapes, this could be an alternative time to visit.
