WALKS AND TREKKING FROM minapin

Hire a guide to walk with you, show you around and tell you about the culture.

DIRAN BASE CAMP TREK

For the first few km the ascent is steep and difficult; it crosses the terminal moraine of the Minapin Glacier. As you advance further, keeping to the left of the glacier, the entire Rakaposhi-Diran edge line comes into view. After another 5 to 6 hours you come to a small hut where the night can be spent. The trail continues along the left of the Minapin Glacier and finally arrives at a green meadow; this is the base camp of Rakaposhi 7788m.
