THALPAN PETROGLYPHS

The petroglyphs near chilas are ancient rock carvings depicting a variety of motifs, including Ibex, stupas, meditating Buddhas, and other religious and cultural symbols. These carvings are believed to date back to around 600 BC, making them almost 2,700 years old.

The petroglyphs in the Chilās area are very old, with the earliest carvings dating back to 600 BC. This means some of the rock art is nearly 2,700 years old.
